Browser analytics
This site uses self-hosted Umami for page paths, referring domains, broad browser, operating system and device categories, country, selected link-action names, and page performance measurements. It does not send URL queries or fragments, full referring URLs, link destinations, page titles, screen sizes, custom identities or custom event data to Umami.
The tracker respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. It also respects Umami’s local opt-out setting. These choices stop browser analytics from loading; they do not stop the web server from receiving a request.
Request logs
For this website, a short-lived audience log records the time, site, public route category, request method, response status, referring domain, and a broad client or bot claim. It omits IP addresses, raw user-agent strings, URL queries, cookies and request bodies. The log rotates daily and is kept for about a week. Bot names are claims from request headers, not verified identities.
Limits
Umami may use an IP address temporarily to determine country and an anonymous session. Region and city are not retained in its current session database. Separate operational logs and backups for hosting, analytics and other services may contain IP addresses or older data. This notice describes these two sites’ audience measurements; comments and other services have their own notices.
